Tension Headache and Neck Pain
Chinese Medicine has a long tradition of headache treatment. Acupuncture, acupressure and guasha technique are all well suited to dealing directly with the associated musculo-skeletal contractions. But in addition, Chinese Medicine has the ability to apply non-local (i.e., distal) treatment protocols which are highly effective in their own right and even more so when combined with local treatment. This paper presents a case study which emphasises the importance of treating the whole person.
